Connor Lathim is a USA Archery Certified Level 2 Instructor and has instructed over 3,500 students, to date. His true passion and love for archery really shines in his classes. He is certified to instruct compound, traditional and even olympic style shooting.

Intro to Archery


This is a one time introductory class. It’s for youth and adults who know very little about archery, but are interested in the sport and ready to get their feet wet! It will cover basic safety procedures, proper form, how to check eye dominance and most importantly how to properly handle a bow, so that you can let your first arrow fly!
- Age Requirement: 8 Years of age or older
- Time: 1hr
- Must be pre-registered online to attend
- Equipment: Provided by DOA or bring your own

- Cost: $25 Per Shooter
- Must Arrive 10-15 minutes early
- Cancelation: DOA has a 24hr cancellation/rescheduling policy. If a class is missed, cancelled or changed with less than 24hrs notice, no refund will be given/promotional value of voucher will be forfeited.
Archery 101 Classes:

A six week program designed for individuals or families! All levels of archers are welcome to this course, that is designed to improve and refine archers’ form and fundamentals. The goal is to get archers grouping arrows and scoring within the six week period, which will allow them to see and track progress as their time in the lesson continues. The lesson will be both fun and memorable for everyone, and could become a life-long hobby for the entire family!
- Same as Intro to Archery, except:
- Cost is $120
- DOA Provides equipment if needed
- Once 101 course is completed you will then have access to the 201 schedule.
- Prerequisite: Intro to Archery
Archery 201 Classes

Upon completion of your Archery 101 class, your next step is Archery 201. This class will take many of the concepts learned in the 101 class, and expand on them while beginning to tie it all together. This class will help the archer establish the proper “Shot Process” for them.
- Same as Intro to Archery/101, except:
- Cost is $120
- Must have own equipment
- Once 101 course is completed you will then have access to the 201 schedule.
- Prerequisite: Archery 101 w/passing score on 101 tests.
Advanced/Private Archery Classes:

This is for the archer who wants to take their skills to the professional level. You will be instructed by Master Certified Instructor of the NFAA and USA Archery, Steve Porter. This is by appointment only and cannot be reserved online. Call Steve to book your private lesson today. 208-631-4155.

- Cost: $50 per/hr
- Time: 1 hour, unless shooter or instructor sees fit to do go longer.
